Physics Engineering Design Lab
The Physics Engineering Design Lab (PEDL) supports the
academic and research missions of the Physics Department at MSU by providing
a wide range of services, from maintaining stock of common electronic
components to systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering design
services.

PEDL provides centralized access to:
- Engineering design and fabrication services
- Instrumentation Repair – Repair Request
- PCB Prototyping – PCB Production Request
- PCB CAD Software Support
- Individual consultation on your design
- ESD-safe work environment for students and faculty
- Cable manufacturing equipment
- Loaner test and measurement equipment
- Disposal Services – We collect old batteries, sharps (razor blades), and
electronics for proper disposal
Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM
