  • Version 1
  • A wood block with strips of aluminum, nylon and rubber on 3 of the sides, slips down a variable incline at different angles.
  • Increase the angle of the incline slowly and have students note the angle at which each surface releases.

  • Version 2
  • The block can also be pulled across a level, rough surface with a spring scale.
