1G10.23  ACCELERATION CAR ACCELEROMETER

A float accelerometer shows the acceleration of a car accelerated by a falling mass. Stop car before it reaches the end of the track. The car can also be accelerated by hand for a more dramatic result. Accelerometer is not attached to car.         (remove pulley during transport)         (use shims to level track)         (put tarp on floor to catch 200 g mass, do not use heavier mass)
