Welcome to my slice of the internet. I am a graduate student in physics at Montana State University working under Neil Cornish as part of the Montana Gravitational Wave Astronomy Group. Our work is spread across data analysis efforts for the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) and the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) Scientific Collaboration (LSC).

I originally hail from North Tonawanda, New York - about half-way between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. In 2003 I earned my B.S. in physics from the State University of New York at Oswego. I happened to thoroughly enjoy college; Oswego is a beautiful place (when the weather is nice) and being on the Oswego Laker Swim Team was a life-defining experience. When I finished college I decided it was time for a change of scenery so I loaded up a UHaul and pointed it west.

I moved to Bozeman, Montana in the Summer of 2003 to begin work on my Ph.D. I just completed my dissertation and am half-way kicking myself for choosing a career path that will force me out of Bozeman. Along the way I met and married Sabrina. I recommend clicking on her link seeing as her website does a great job of cataloguing our excursions out here in the wild wild west. Included with Sabrina come two (not so little anymore) girls, Sierra and Alydah, and in May '06 we welcomed daughter #3, Quinn Morgan, to the family.

The story used to end there, but this winter we got an early Christmas/Hannukah present named Milo Coleman, who arrived via stork into Sabrina's arms on December 17th. Sierra, Alydah, and Quinn have a beautiful baby brother and I have someone to play catch with on Sunday's before kickoff. He doesn't have much of an arm yet, and has very poor hand-eye coordination, but I think by next season he'll be able to ''go deep.''
