Ok,
where to begin... I'm currently a 23 year old graduate student at
Montana
State University, majoring in physics,
with an emphasis on General Relativity. I am almost six feet tall,
with curly black hair which I like to keep short, glasses, a moustache...
Um, perhaps I'd better just show you.
If that isn't enough to scare you off, you can take a
look at some
more pictures of me
(even morepictures are available in my photo
gallery).
My interests:
-
Reading: Anything I can get my eyes
on, but mostly fantasy and science fiction. My favorite authors are
Isaac Asimov, J. R. R. Tolkien, Robert A. Heinlein, and Piers Anthony,
but I'm currently working my way through James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking
Tales.
-
Role-playing games: Mostly Dungeons
and Dragons, although I have tried various other systems. I play
whenever I get the chance, which is unfortunately seldom, anymore.
-
Magic: the Gathering: A fantasy
collectible card game from Wizards of the Coast. Great fun to play,
although I personally think it's gone downhill lately.
-
Math: Yes, I really did say that
one of my interests is math. So far, I've taken courses through multi-dimensional
calculus and differential equations, and I love it all.
-
Scouting:
I got to Life rank before turning 18, and am a Brotherhood member of the
Order of the Arrow, Cuyahoga lodge.
-
Jigsaw puzzles: I've finished
about a dozen 1000 piece puzzles, as well as a couple with 1,500 or 2,000
pieces.
-
Computers: Obviously. In
addition to designing and building this web page, I'm also rather competent
in programming in BASIC and C. You can download a few of my
creations and take a look. Of course, I also enjoy playing computer
games, ranging from Minesweeper to Baldur's Gate.
