frictionless floor in the direction shown, when a wind begins to blow
to the right.
Assuming that the wind is constant the box will
follow a path denoted by the black line in the diagram below. Draw
the box at each of the locations of the four blue dots in the
diagram.
Students suffering from this misconception will show the box as
rotating further and further as it moves along the path (shown
below).
