David (right), Amin (left) and Trent are developing an imaging lidar instrument. This instrument has range resolution of better than 1m and angular resolution of better than 1 arcsecond. The unique imaging lidar can also look at the spectral information up to 3 kHz for the return signal from each range bin. This work has led to a recent patent.
