Dave is working on the development of a two color lidar instrument for aerosol studies. Aerosols play an important role in atmospheric science and climate behavior and vertical aerosol profiles, aerosol size distribution, and aerosol type measurements are very important. Dave is using a two color instrument to gain more information both on aerosol size and type.
