Title:
"AGN observation with Swift"
q040706.htm

Abstract:
Even though the main purpose of the Swift Gamma-Ray Burst explore mission is to hunt and follow-up bursts, due to its multi-wavelength capacity and its flexible scheduling, Swift is the ideal observatory to observe active galactic nuclei (AGN). In my talk I will present most recent results to study
the Big Blue Bump emission in soft X-ray selected AGN. In particular I will talk about the results of the observations on the Narrow-Line Seyfert 1
galaxy RX J0148-2758 which was observed for a total of almost 60 ksec by Swift. This object shows some interesting flux and spectral variability and demonstrated the great opportunities Swift offers for AGN observations.
