ICAL Annoucements
ICAL has an opening for a Post Doc on the MURI project. Go to job posting for more information.
The MURI project meeting was a great success. Collaborators from OSU, OU, ONR, CSM, and MSU met in Bozeman for two days in June to present their research from this past year. These visiting scientists were able to tour the CBE and ICAL to better understand the research oppurtunities here at MSU. We look forward to the next year's meeting in OK.
ICAL will host the MURI Project annual meeting on June 16 and 17th. Attendees from the collaborating agencies and universities will gather to discuss various topics concerning Fuels and Biocorrosion. Presentors from OSU, OU, ONR and MSU will give talks on current research and posters will also be presented. Lectures include "Perspective on Fuels and Biocorrosion - Navy Needs and MURI Team Interactions" Dr. Joseph Sulflita; "Application of Mass Spectrometry Techniques for Fuel Investigations", Dr. Jan Sunner and "Immunoimmobilization In Fuel-Sea Water", Dr. Jahson Zhiyong Suo. Strategy sessions will be conducted and tours of the 3rd Floor EPS facilities will be given. Contact ICAL for further information.
Melody Bechberger has successfully completed her work for a Master's degree in Earth Science and accpeted a job in Houston, TX. She will be greatly missed in ICAL, but we wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavours.
