6A42.10  BLACKBOARD OPTICS - REFRACTION




  • A plastic block refracts light from a single ray source.
  • Apparatus clings to magnetic whiteboards.  Do not slide magnets across board.












        (lift support bracket by one end at a time, do not slide)
        (if needed, use a clamp to hold whiteboard up)



  • View seen by students with room lights off.



  • A semicircular plastic block can be used to show other properties of refracted light.
