  • A light bulb in the capacitive branch of a high pass filter shows the increase in current through the capacitor as the generator frequency increases.
  • Generator output is constant over the range of interest.


        (use 1k ohm resistor and 3 uf cap)
        (set generator range switch to 0.1-10 kHz)


  • A light bulb in the inductive branch of a low pass filter shows the increase in current through the inductor as the generator frequency decreases.
  • Generator output is constant over the range of interest.


        (use 1k ohm resistor and 1.5 mH, 16 ohm inductor)
        (set generator range switch to 0.1-10 kHz)
