4C30.80  MAKE LIQUID OXYGEN

When liquid nitrogen is poured into a metal container, liquid oxygen will condense on the outside. Allow the LO to drip into a crucible of crushed charcoal briquets, then ignite it and stand back. Safety glasses are strongly recommended.         (use clamping stand)         (a steady stream of LO is needed to sustain the burn)         (check fire extinguisher)

Example of a good barbeque.

For a more controlled effect use steel wool.

Steel wool will glow brightly when burned with liquid oxygen.
