  • A match held at the focus of a parabolic reflector is ignited by a heater coil at the focus of another reflector.
  • Match will smoke for awhile then ignite after 1½-2 minutes.
       (mount reflectors just above table surface on clamping stands)
       (aim reflectors at each other through center bolts)
       (matchhead must be visible through bolt and even with rim)
       (place cloths under reflectors during transport)
