- A small fragment of combustible material burns when a piston is quickly compressed in an airtight cylinder.
- For best visibility turn room lights off.
- Cylinder must be thoroughly cleaned after each use, therefore multiple repetitions are time consuming.
(cut a 2 mm x 2 mm piece of tissue or equivalent piece of cotton fiber)
(apply light coat of oil to rings and push piston to bottom before class)
(thoroughly clean cylinder and allow to air dry before storage)
