Spin the ball (filled with water) on the turntable for 2 minutes at 400 RPM. Turn the rotator off and carefully lift the ball off the turntable (ball weighs ~9 kg).         (tighten well nut 2 revolutions minimum)         (clamp rotator to table)

With one hand under the ball, slip the hook onto the loop.  Slowly lower the ball until it is supported by the cord. Make sure the ball is still.  Then, after you let go, it will "mysteriously" begin to rotate in the same direction as before.
