Course Description: The course begins with an historical review of wave-particle duality and wave mechanics, then proceeds with the development of the tools of non-relativistic quantum mechanics, and continues with the application of these tools to a series of fundamental quantum systems. (4 credits.)

Prerequisite: Classical Mechanics (Phys 301).
